What Can Learn From Toronto?

So now that a terror ring of young Muslim jihadists' based in Toronto has been busted with enough material for 3 Oklahoma City style attacks, what can we learn from this? Well, for one thing, these 17 young Muslim terrorists had nothing in common.

The Toronto Star tells us ; hat tip lgf

""In investigators' offices, an intricate graph plotting the links between the 17 men and teens charged with being members of a homegrown terrorist cell covers at least one wall. And still, says a source, it is difficult to find a common denominator.""

This would be funny if not for the hundreds, perhaps thousands, of lives at stake.

""Canadian authorities investigating an alleged homegrown plot to blow up buildings in Ontario said Monday more arrests were possible as part of a wider probe into terrorist cells in at least seven countries, including the United States.""

But not to worry, our House of Representives is going to cut anti-terror funding, again.

""This Thursday, if the tentative House schedule holds up and there are no unexpected amendments, members will vote to cut the Administration’s funding request for programs to counter terrorism overseas, despite all the speeches that it is better to fight the terrorists abroad than at home. The cuts were buried in the Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2007 that the Appropriations Committee approved shortly before the Memorial Day recess. If the past is any indication, the full House will probably go along next week with the Committee’s recommendations most members will be unaware that deep in the fine print of the committee report are funding cuts that undermine the fight against international terrorists.""

""It happened last year, and the year before, as if 9/11 and subsequent terrorist against our allies overseas never took place.""

Yep, nothing can be learned from Toronto. Just 17 people with nothing in common plotting the destruction of thier countrymen for no reason whatsoever.
