A Man's Home Is His Castle

So, what kind of goverment holds it's own borders in contempt?
hat tip, Always On Watch

From
Sixth Column
,
One caller to the Rollye James show stated that his attempt to put up a fence failed, as it was torn down by the government. The property owner erected a fence on his own property, at his own expense, and government workers came and tore it down, stating that they did so because it interfered with migratory pathways.

Fortunately, the matter was taken to court, and the government's action was overruled.

No doubt the ACLU came too the rescue

There just can't be a more obvious "clue" to the government's opposition to the construction of a fence on our border with Mexico, or to the lengths they will go to in order to carry out their agenda.

My fear is that as more and more segments of the Minuteman-sponsored fence are constructed with private funds, on private property, with permission of property owners, that the government might use its recent perversion of the Fifth Amendment to seize property along the border and tear down the fence.

Somehow, "tear down the fence" doesn't quite have the same ring to it as President Reagan's Berlin speech when he said "Mr. Gorbachov, tear down that wall!"
