Saddam's Terror Connections

World Net Daily
reports that al-Qaida and the Taliban had a relationship with the Saddam regime prior to the 9-11 attacks. The
Pentagon
has the documents and some audio on it's website.

A letter by the member of Saddam's Al Mukabarat to a superior, dated Sept. 15, 2001, reports a pre-9/11 conversation between an Iraqi intelligence source and a Taliban Afghani consul.

The letter indicated Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan were in contact with Iraq – noting a specific visit to Baghdad – and said the U.S. had proof Saddam's regime and al-Qaida were cooperating to hit a target in the U.S.

The document said the U.S. was aware of such a relationship and could strike Iraq and Afghanistan if the attacks proved to be tied to bin Laden and the Taliban.

The translated text is as follows:

In the Name of God the Merciful

Presidency of the Republic

Intelligence Apparatus

To the respectful Mr. M.A.M

Subject: Information

Our source in Afghanistan No 11002 (for information about him see attachment 1) provided us with information that that Afghani Consul Ahmad Dahestani (for information about him see attachment 2) told him the following:

1. That Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan are in contact with Iraq and it that previously a group from Taliban and Osama Bin Laden group visited Iraq.

2. That America has proof that the government of Iraq and Osama bin Laden group have shown cooperation to hit target within America.

Notice it doesn't say "America thinks" there is cooperation.

3. That in case it is proven the involvement of Osama bin Laden group and the Taliban in these destructive operations it is possible that American will conduct strikes in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Giving them time to move the WMD's.

4. That the Afghani Consul heard about the subject of Iraq relation with Osama Bin Laden group during his stay in Iran.

Ah... Iran, no surprise there.

5. In light of this we suggest to write to the Commission of the above information.

Please view… Yours… With regards

There are also documents connecting Saddam with Zarqawi. The left and the MSM is going to have to work their tails off to counter these facts. Saddam was connected with 9/11, he had WMD's and tranported them to Syria
before the war, He used WMD's against the Kurds and Iran, he funded terrorism against Israel, he is an evil dictator and needed to be removed forcibly. The war is justified, and the world is a little safer that before the war.

No doubt that outburst was aimed at the folks at Yale. It seems Saddam had put in an application but Taliban Boy got his seat.

Perhaps DePaul will let him teach in the Jewish studies department and have the office next to Norm Finklestein

Good job, keep them coming.
Yes, the MSM will have to do a great deal of spin or just say as they did when Clinton got caught "oh that's old news".

Facts have little to do with PC arguments of the libs and MSM. They can always dodge the issue with the race card, the gender card, and on and depressingly on and on....,

But, at least this new information is correcting history with facts not shouts. Take care.

Question is, what will Syria do with Iraq's former weapons. Syria and Iran both have the destruction of Israel as its primary goal.

Actually the MSM will probably just ignore the story altogether.

Syria? who knows? the WMD's may be secured elsewhere by now.

Syria has had Chemical weapons since the 1970's. Haffez Assad was evil but sane and knew what would happen if he used them.

Egypt did use Chemical weapons in the Yemen civil war in the 1960's.
