What do Communism, Fascism, and Islam Have In Common?

Some pundits have called our so called “War On Terror” World War III. For those of us old enough to remember the Cold War, WW III conjured up images of mushroom clouds. The old Soviet Union, or perhaps Red China invading neighboring countries, setting off a nuclear holocaust. The dead would be envied as rest of us were rotting away from radiation sickness or staving to death as the result of a “nuclear winter”. Needless to say, none of this ever happened.
The Soviet Union couldn't keep up with the Arms Race, Glasnost was instituted, the Berlin Wall crumbled, and the USSR was broken up into several parts. Chalk one up for capitalism, the free market economy just out-produced totalitarian communism.

These results may seem obvious to us capitalists now. It just stands to reason that a free worker would be more efficient than a worker restricted by a communist overlord. China has out -lasted the USSR by accepting elements of capitalism and resisting the temptation of the arms race and the space race. Although the Soviet Union, the birthplace of the communist revolution, may be a shadow of it's former self, totalitarianism is alive and well. It lives in China when tanks roll over protesters at Tinnamen Square, convinces Google to censor the Internet, or chases the Dali Lama out of Tibet. Totalitarianism also rules nearly all Muslim nations. If it were not for the Iraq War, the entire Muslim world would be ruled by dictatorship. Palestine, when given a choice, voted in Hamas, a known terrorist organization. Even this election was forced upon the Palestinians as part of the “Road map to Peace”.

Democracy is the standard in all Christian nations, but exists in Islam only by outside force. Why is this? Democratic principals work best in a secular environment. Secularism is strictly forbidden by Islam's sharia law. A code so strict it dictates what hand to wipe with. Founded by Mohamed in the seventh century, sharia law has remained essentially unchanged for
1400 years. This is why public stonings , female circumcism, and beheadings, are still practiced in the Middle East.

Unlike Christianity and Judaism, Islam has never undergone a major reformation. This enables the Imams to keep the people under total control for fear of death or mutilation as prescribed by sharia law. Apostates, those who leave the Islamic faith, are to be put to death. Imagine if Christianity and Judaism were still this brutal and legalistic, free elections and free speech would be impossible. Like Joe Stalin or Adolph Hitler slaughtering millions without question, absolute power. Fascism and Communism cannot allow themselves to be questioned. Totalitarian ideals hold the rights of the state above the individual .

Sharia law brings state and religion together as Allah's law on Earth and holds itself above all. Including other religions. In this sense, Islam has always been political as well as spiritual. Modern society thrives on self criticism and self improvement, urging a continual evolution. Islam rejects this process, condemning itself to stagnation and cursing a world that has surpassed them. This has become the primary source of inner torment for much of the Muslim world that cannot accept a superior economy run by Infidels. It must be fault of the deviant Jews.

Mohamed constantly berates and attacks the Jews in the Koran, warning of their deception and avarice. This hatred spans the entire Muslim world that stretches from Morocco to
Southeast Asia. All that befalls Islam finds a common home, Israel. Muslims in the Sudan or Canada curse the existence of a Jewish state. Muslims in England or Pakistan decry the “International Zionist Conspiracy” and commonly refer to the United States as the second Israel.
The faith that cannot be questioned, run by governments that cannot be questioned, will be forever trapped in a cycle of failure, denial and revenge.

Kevin,
Unlike Christianity and Judaism, Islam has never undergone a major reformation....Totalitarian ideals hold the rights of the state above the individual ....The faith that cannot be questioned, run by governments that cannot be questioned, will be forever trapped in a cycle of failure, denial and revenge....

And here's something else....Even "moderate" Muslims revere the Koran in such a way as to stand back and let the radicals lead the way. Additionally, the later Koranic verses, the Medinan verses, are militant and the core of Islam since their "revelation."

Furthermore, by its very nature and according to the Koran, Islam is geopolitical in orientation. As you said, Sharia law brings state and religion together as Allah's law on Earth and holds itself above all.

WHT is right--bleak indeed! And our leaders have yet to properly identify the underlying ideology.

Good post!

I don't think Islam will ever go through anything like a 'Reformation'. Just criticizing existing tenants is grounds for being labeled an apostate and the penalty for that is death. The Koran is the undisputed word of God to Muslims and how can you reform God's word?

Bleak I admit, but as long as there is life, there is hope. Islam must be reformed or eliminated. Reform seems more likely but it's going to take decades, maybe longer. In the meantime, a lot of innocent peeople die in the name of the religion of peace.

albiza,
I'm no fan of any televangelist, but no televangelist every called for the destruction of an entire country like Imam's do with regularity. Phelps is a lone wacko
in a sea of normalcy, condemned by all Christian clerics.

As far as WMD's are concerned, Saddam used WMD's on his own people and the Iranians. I guess flying a jetliner into skyscapers is a WMD. But after looking at your blog, I doubt you have a problem with that.
