The Desert Christ Park

Dedicated To Peace On Earth and The Brotherhood Of Man

In the little town of Yucca Valley CA, is a truly unique monument of religious and historical significance. The Desert Christ Park was created by sculptor Frank Antone Martin in the final ten years of his life that ended in December 23, 1961. Despite physical ailments, Martin constructed 40 larger that life statues of reinforced concrete depicting Christ's life and teachings. “The Last Supper” is a relief carving into a facade three stories tall, the figures are nine feet tall, the total weight of the project is an estimated 125 tons.
