Thank God we had health insurance and that the surgery was a success! But we definitely didn't get a free ride.

An illegal without health insurance gets the same treatment and doesn't suffer the financial impact. My sister-in-law found that out the hard way when she had a premie in CA; again, the cost nearly drove her and her husband into bankruptcy. In the same ward with her was an illegal, who walked debt-free.

The illegals in our school systems are stealing education from the average American kids. My young cousin has suffered that fate.Always On Watchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01216119321836479641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21375613.post-1141410534435023542006-03-03T10:28:00.000-08:002006-03-03T10:28:00.000-08:00I taught school in Miami for quite a few years. S...I taught school in Miami for quite a few years. Social studies. My wife at that time taught ESOL, English for speakers of other languages. There is no doubt that there is a huge economic drain on the economic resources allotted to the school system. For the most part, these children really wanted to learn English. Their families depended on their children learning the language. As long as these kids and families are committed to integrating with mainstream American culture, I think the money is well spent. I disagree with AOW..I found the children had much more success. Popular culture, music, movies etc. are great motivators.
Unfortunately though, this is a huge economic commitment especially when the children are the children of illegal immigrants who I do not believe should get a free ride through our school systems.American Crusaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289577534372163973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21375613.post-1141356192125046622006-03-02T19:23:00.000-08:002006-03-02T19:23:00.000-08:00Come vis mah blog..miss ya..lolzhow dare u take ti...Come vis mah blog..miss ya..lolz
how dare u take time off huh..grinzWomanHonorThyselfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17211851365273181636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21375613.post-1141346234075139402006-03-02T16:37:00.000-08:002006-03-02T16:37:00.000-08:00I have some experience with teaching ESL.
